New Start ~ L & L Celtic Christmas

This is another new project that I have started.

I started this on Saturday 19th September 2009 and have done some on it every day since. This is because I am loving it some much. Thank you Kathy for encouraging me to have a go at one of these. I was also bought a Lowery stand by a very close friend for stitching this.. ain't I a lucky girl..lol

Here is my progress so far....

I am stitching it on 28 ct Zweigart Brittney in Natural and the fabric colour doesn't show up well in this pic.

When I have finished this one I have Celtic Spring kitted up and waiting in the wings. I really want to stitch all these .. just need to get hold of all the charts...so if anybody as a copy of any of them that they no longer require please give me a shout..lol

Hugs to all xx

Sorry for long absence !!!

Hi

Just want to say sorry for long absence.

One thing I am chuffed about at the moment is that I have finally put together my Etui Box which I purchased 18 months ago. I completed it at 1.30am this morning.

The round pin cushion by the side of it was made for my by DS at school in 2001 when he was 5 or 6. I love it.

The fabric covering my Etui Box has little pins all over it.

Hope you like it

Busy Sunday !!

Well what a busy day.... I have shampooed lounge and extension carpets with help of ex DH. Whilst doing this I prepared sunday lunch and left it cooking. I then hoovered around upstairs.... then after I had dished up sunday lunch and eaten it I sat down to watch my favourite football team (Manchester United) play against Everton at Wembley in the FA CUp Semi Final.... after an agonising 90 mins plu 30 mins of extra time it came doen to penalties... unfortunately we lost to Everton (4 - 2).. still some silverware to go for though.

I did a little hardanger on my coasters whilst watching the match. In a while I am gonna do some more knitting so I can take 2 baby cardys to my freind Christina's daughter Vicky next Friday when DH and I go to see them in Steyning, West Sussex.

I will post some pics up soon...recently I have completed and framed the Apache Wedding Blessing which is also for Vicky and Bod for their 1st wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks time. Their 1st baby is due the end of September.

Take care all and big hugs
